COMMUNITY SERVICE PROGRAM FOR EXPELLED AND SUSPENDED STUDENTS

The goal of the community service program is to provide suspended/expelled students with structured activities, a sense of community awareness, self-preparedness and the responsibility to make a difference not only in their lives, but also in the lives of others. This is achieved through conducting a needs assessment, instructional social skills training/education and collaboration with a multitude of community organizations to serve as host sites for the students to receive hands-on experience with community involvement.

DETENTION REDUCTION ADVOCACY PROGRAM

The overall goal of this program is to assist the Department of Juvenile Services in providing non-residential services to youth who would otherwise be placed in secure residential detention facilities. This goal will be accomplished by providing monitoring, supervision, case management, and advocacy service for youth and their families.

WRAP AROUND SERVICE

BCTT's Wraparound service program offers an array of customized fee for service options for vendors and families to choose from. The services include one on one staffing, mentoring, case management, advocacy and family services which are offered through a fee for service contract agreement. These services are crucial to families that are without healthcare insurance or do not meet the medical necessity criteria of health insurance providers. Wraparound services can habilitate, rehabilitate, stabilize and unify divided families and support families and individuals in the community.
