History of the Organization
Building Communities Today for Tomorrow, Inc. (BCTT), in business since May, 2000, is a private minority owned and operated corporation serving children, adolescents, adults, and seniors in the Greater Baltimore Metropolitan area who are at risk of removal from the home, community, or who are transitioning from residential settings back into the community. BCTT's motto “Real Issues Deserve Real Work” is symbolic of the dedication of its employees to providing a variety of services in the client's natural environment to enhance productive functioning and progress in their day-to-day lives.
BCTT's principle place of business is 2901 Druid Park Drive Suite A # 210 in Baltimore, Maryland 21215. It comprises 2800 square feet of newly renovated office space. Housing all of BCTT's administrative and some programmatic services, this location also provides adequate conference and meeting space for technical assistance workshops, seminars, conferences, treatment programs and routine business contacts. The centralized location provides accessibility to residents and facilitates referral/community linkage throughout the greater Baltimore metropolitan area.
Supported by human services and administrative staff, BCTT has leveraged its current staff of 85 full and part-time employees to substantially expand its clientele since opening its doors in 2000. Senior program managers with programmatic responsibilities in key business areas are intimately involved in devising and enforcing solutions to challenges that inevitably arise. The real-world results of BCTT's programs are continuously evaluated and fed back to the CEO for consideration in critical strategic planning.
