Internship positions are available at our offices. Interns at BCTT learn essential clinical skills as well as provide research assistance on various projects. They may see clients and/or assist with the production of reports, releases etc. Interns gain valuable experience working on clinical skills and policy while pursuing degrees in human service fields of study. BCTT welcomes students matriculating in social work, psychology, mental health, rehabilitative counseling, criminal justice and other related disciplines. An intern should have the following basic qualifications: good research and writing skills, ability to work with people from diverse cultures and backgrounds, basic knowledge of web searching and word processing, flexibility and creativity.
Volunteers play a fundamental part in the services that BCTT provides. There is a variety of opportunities available ranging from administrative work to direct services. Volunteers must be at least 16 years old.
